A Personal Manifesto
People are always in their own headspace, fearing of the unknown, and constantly thinking of the ‘what ifs’ or ‘laters’. People who are afraid to take action and always contradict themselves as a way of escapism, forever staying in their safe place.

Inspirations & Reflection
The opportunities from uploading our manifestos on ‘Miro’ was personally very useful. Many of my classmates’ final delivery has put me in awe from the choice of media and style they’ve chosen to use. The way these manifestos were implemented has led me to thinking in new ways and opened my mind in the many possibilities and approaches I can imply in communicating ideas.
-
Use of character designs to visualise ideas and make audience immersed into the creator’s world
Combination of 2D illustrations and 3D modelling for more interesting visual designs
Layout reflects that of a children’s book
-
Taking inspiration from daily life to create something meaningful
The use of video and music to demonstrate ideas
Creative approach in translating the message through the use of medium itself
-
Simplicity as key, filled but neat
Graphic design references in perfect balance between words and lines
Use of weight in lines to create new patterns
Texts are easy to read despite it being the same colour as the background
Further Experiments
With most interest in expanding personal skills into 3D platforms and using modelling softwares, I tried re-creating the hand-drawn animation I made for the personal manifesto using new applications such as Nomad- a software recommended and used by a classmate. Taking inspirations from the message of my manifesto, I decided to just go for it and experiment without being overly conscious of failure, as throughout the whole unit I learnt how failure is essential, and could even spark new ideas.
